Slapshot accepts .mov and .mp4 files. For best results, upload ProRes or high-bitrate H.264/H.265 sources.
What's the maximum file size and resolution?
The web app supports files up to 200MB and resolutions up to 8K. Autopilot (API) has no file size limit.
Which export format should I use?
Use EXR for professional compositing in Nuke, Flame, or Resolve. Use MOV for editorial workflows in Premiere or Final Cut. Use Alembic (.abc) for 3D camera data in Maya, Blender, or Houdini.
Do I need plugins to import Slapshot exports?
No. All Slapshot exports use industry-standard formats that import natively into professional software without plugins.
